Highlight Service
Full Highlight Service
Description: This service is the ultimate color transformation for maximum brightness and dimension. A Full Highlight involves meticulously placing foils throughout the entire head—the top, sides, and nape (underneath)—to achieve a comprehensive, all-over blonde or lighter look. This technique ensures that your color looks brilliant and dimensional no matter how you part or wear your hair.
Best For: Clients desiring a significant shift to a much lighter color, complete grey blending, or a seamless, high-impact blonde that is visible from every angle.
Time: 3.5 – 5 hours (varies based on hair length, density, and desired lightness)
Mini Highlight (Face-Framing/T-Zone)
Description: The perfect introductory service to highlights, or for a quick, impactful refresh of your color. Mini Highlights involve placing a limited number of foils (typically 5 to 15) around the hairline, part line, and crown (T-Zone). This technique is designed to give a subtle "pop" of brightness where the sun naturally hits your hair, or to quickly camouflage visible root growth around the face.
Best For: Clients who want a soft, natural sun-kissed look, quick maintenance between full appointments, or a gentle introduction to lighter color without committing to a full transformation.
Time: 2.0 – 2.5 hours
Partial Highlight
Description: A mid-level highlight service designed to create beautiful dimension and brightness that is highly visible without being a full-head transformation. Partial Highlights involve placing foils across the entire top section of the head, extending from the hairline to the crown and through the temples. This ensures the color looks fantastic when worn down, styled up, or parted in any direction.
Best For: Clients who regularly wear their hair down and want noticeable, dimensional color. It is ideal for maintaining existing highlights or adding significant brightness to the top and sides.
Time: 2.5 – 3.5 hours (Time varies based on hair density and level of lightness desired)
Balayage Color Service
Description: Balayage (pronounced bah-lay-ahge) is a French technique that means "to sweep." Unlike traditional foiling, this method involves hand-painting a lightener directly onto the hair in a free-form, sweeping motion. This creates soft, natural-looking highlights that are darker at the roots and gradually blend into lighter ends. The result is a seamless, low-maintenance color with a beautiful, dimensional grow-out.
Best For: Clients who desire a soft, sun-kissed look, a modern melted blend, or color that requires minimal maintenance between appointments. It works well on all hair lengths, but is most impactful on medium to long hair.
Time: 3.5 – 5 hours (This is a complex service requiring significant time for blending and toning)
Babylights
Description: Babylights are the most delicate form of highlighting, designed to mimic the subtle, multi-tonal, naturally lightened hair of a child. This technique uses a very fine, detailed weave and minimal separation between foils. The result is an incredibly soft, all-over brightness with no visible lines of demarcation. This technique is used to create the most natural-looking, soft blend possible.
Best For: Clients who desire a delicate, sun-kissed look that is exceptionally blended, or those transitioning away from traditional highlights to a lower-maintenance, softer color. Ideal for adding fine dimension without creating large streaks of color.
Time: 4 – 6 hours (Due to the fine, detailed application, this is one of our most time-intensive services)
Key Difference:
Babylights use a much finer weave and lighter saturation than traditional highlights, creating a soft veil of color rather than pronounced streaks. The fine application allows for a softer grow-out.
Ombré Color Service
Description: Ombré (French for "shaded") is a classic color technique that creates a dramatic, high-contrast effect. The color starts dark at the roots and mid-lengths and transitions horizontally into solid, lighter color on the ends. Unlike the soft, blended transition of Balayage, the Ombré technique often features a more defined gradient between the dark and light sections.
Best For: Clients seeking a bold, low-maintenance look with striking contrast between their natural root color and bright, saturated ends. It is particularly effective on medium to long hair.
Time: 3 – 4.5 hours (Time varies based on the starting color, current hair health, and desired lightness)
